And The Cradle Will Rock (again)...or..Everything old is new again.

Van Halen has announced a 40 date tour for this year with none other than Diamon David Lee Roth once again asuming front man duties! Yes! I am a big fan of Van Halen (the original).Never much cared for the Sammy years (Van Hagar?) or the other guy they had for about 1 song. Eddie's son Wolfgang is taking over for Michael Anthony so it's not exactly the original but, it could be argued, it's more "Van Halen than ever. Apparently Michael Anthony is the one who hates Daid Lee Roth the most. I say - it's been 20 years, it's one tour (and hopefully an album with some new stuff - please please pelase) - get over it, take home all that money you're going to make and be happy Mike. Of course that's being said by someone who has often had trouble getting over past grudges! But everyone deserves a second chance. Who know's though? Maybe the on-stage and in-studio(?) chemistry will be better without a guy that still harbors a huge grudge against the new(old) member? This could be interesting or it could be a huge disaster, we shall have to wait and see.

The Police are also going to be reuniting for a concert tour. I've also heard that Led Zeppelin is going on tour again (I assume Bonham's kid will be on drums?) Can A milli Vanilli rerunion be far behind? I know, one of them is dead but given Milli Vanilli's histrot...perhaps he's just PRETENDING to be dead and he had someone else take his place in the coffin? Or if he really is dead they could just have someone pretend to be him on tour...it would, in a way, be the ultimate Milli Vanilli tour.
