went skiing aagain today. 5th and possibly last time. The snow is melting quite fast up here. I did a few runs from farther up the hill than I have before. There are 3 main towers, 3, 6, and 12. I normally just go from 3 but did some 6 runs today. "Baby Steps" I crashed a few times today. And for the first time this thought went through my head as I was crashing one time "this is where I break my leg" - I fell down, rolled over a few times, did a freaking cartwheel-like manouver (that's about the moment the thought popped in my head)landed on my feet/skis and kept going! I got to the bottom of the hill without further crashes and just stood there for about 5 minutes going "Holy F***! Holy F***!" to myself. Then I realized the most amazing aspect of the crash/recovery - my glasses stayed on the whole time!
Next year I am buying a season's pass and digital camera to document my adventures.
It's more fun than I should be allowed to have.
ps :I'll be putting some more pics up later today/tonight....finally

Your glasses stayed on so you could see Death coming for you, LOL!
Holy s*** indeed! I'm hurting just thinking about taking that kind of beating. Fat girls definitely shouldn't strap wooden sticks on their feet and try to slide down a mountain. Not this fat girl anyway. LOL!
Looking forward to the new pics later on this evening.
We're having homemade storm trooper chili and cornbread for supper tonight. I think we're eating out tomorrow for Sunday Dinner.
:o)
You need a helmet cam, especially one that can record comments lol
I remember recording myself as I snowboarded one time. I got some great shots up my nose as I pointed the camera towards myself.
Helmet cam is a good idea.
helmet cam, that would be great!
