I had heard ealier that the wrtiers' strike was over. My first thought was "coool, now 24 can start. Then the DJ on the TV guide channel breaks the news that the next season wont start until NEXT January! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The funniest thing happened after I typed that first paragraph : I thought of a positive to the disappointing 24 news :
The extended break DOES give the writers a chance to tweak the parts they thought were weak, and 24, although always entertaining on some levels, needs to have a KILLER story this year. Leaving Los Angeles and taking the story to Washington DC is a good move. I'm willing to wait but it had better be a "kick-ass/holy fuck" season or I'm done with the show.
