....this just popped into my head. When I first broke up with a woman I had lived with for three years (not a terrbly long time, I know. Unless you were me) - this is what I would say to people when they asked me "How's it going?" :
"The bad news is - the wife divorced me. The good news is - I'm not married to the bitch anymore"
