hello there, long time no see

I dont really have a lot to say but here goes anyhow :

28 days until I get my free "vacation" to Vancouver. I can't wait to see my friends and family down there.

We just got through Shambala up here. It's basically a big rave in the bush for a week. This was the 10th anniversary and there were about 15000 people visiting. In a town of about 2500. It was insanity!

The fires up here are finally being brought under control. It got pretty scary.

I've been watching Arrested Development on CBC and it still chokes me that the show got the treatment it did from FOX.

My mom just got one of those little motorized scooter dealies. I can't wait to take it out for a spin!

I can see again, thanks to finally getting my glasses repaired. whoohoo!

how are you?

Hockey season isthisclose! yeah! - The Canucks resigned Trevor Linden to another year - Sweet!

I must be making friends now - a couple came by and "kidnapped" me for the day a few days back. I havent had that much fun in a single day in a long time. I also havent drank that much in years. Which, if you know me, is saying a lot!

24 is run on A&E everyday and Ive been watching most of it to catch bits I missed the first time around. Nina Myers is/was HOT.

I've now worked at the gas station longer than I worked at the apartment building. Holy Crap!

I just bought season one of Cheers on DVD...for only 20 bucks. Brand new at Walmart. Screaming deal.

I've bought a notepad to write down blog ideas so that I actually have something to write about when I come to mom's to check my emails. I would get all these good ideas or funny stuff to write about and then when I got to a computer I would have forgotten most of what I wanted to say. Now, if I could just remember where I put it.

Have fun, stay safe, sweet dreams. (you can even dream about me if you like)

I was really hoping you'd been busy having a real life and friends and that nothing was wrong. I can tell just from the tone of your writing that you're much happier there than you were in the city. Especially in the hotel!

Glad things are going well for you, Alex. I hope you find time to post on your blog more often. I miss you. Really, I do. ;-)

Love and hugs,

Diane

I do the same thing -- get a great blog idea in the car or while I'm on my lunch break, but of course I can't remember when I'm actually sitting in front of my blog.
