The interview today went rather well. I really didnt want to be working at a gas station again but 8 hours a day at a gas station is better than 24 hours a day NOT working. I'll know tomorrow or the next day.
Got an email today from a woman called "Lois Bacon" it was titled "Alex, I want to F*** you". I may take her up on it. Wouldn't be the first time I went home with a pig.
Here are my predictions for the NHL playoffs : (It's the most wonderful time of the year!)
Eastern Conference :
NY Islanders vs Buffalo Sabres - Buffalo in 4. A cake walk for the Sabres.
Tampa Bay vs New Jersey - Jersey in 6. Brodeur will carry his team
NY Rangers vs Atlanta - Atlanta in 7. Because I won't pick the Rangers to win anything until the heart break of 1994 goes away!
Pittsburgh vs Ottawa - Ottawa in 6. Ottawa will want it more and has the experience factor on their side. But this is the only series Ottawa will win, after this they choke like always.
Western Conference :
Calgary vs Detroit - Detroit in 6. Calgary played like crap the last couple weeks of the season and couldnt win on the road all year
Anaheim vs Minnesota - Anaheim in 7. More talent but Minny will give them a good run for their money
Dallas vs Vancouver - Vancouver in 6. I've cheered for them for 35 years, why stop now? Plus they have been a great team since christmas and I just don't see them losing 4 times out of 7 to anyone right now.
Nashville vs San Jose - Nashville in 6. Joe Thorton once again pulls his disappearing act in the playoffs.
Well, we'll see how I do this year. Last year I think I went 50%.
Now excuse me, I have to go eat a mustard sandwich.
