good weekend

i had a fabulous weekend this past weekend. got to ride the West Coast Express. It's a commuter train, but not a rapid transit like one. It's like a real choo choo. very comfortable. its a double decker train with booth sitting, a coffee bar,a sleeping car and an honest to goodness conductor. He's all dressed up fancy like too. I could get used to having to ride that puppy everyday if I had to. Its more expensive than normal transit but well worth it.
I was riding the fancy train to go visit my dad & step-mom (recently returned from their winter vacation in Arizona) it was a good visit. I was also in maple ridge to go to an all day affair called Soberfest. Had an excellent time. when they added up all the years of sobriety in the room there was over 1500 years! I had a great time amd will definitely be going to more of these types of  affairs.
