Just a brief story I thought I would share. There was a professor at the college that I went to that was instrumental in getting a number of good things established on campus, including an AA program. As a recovering alcoholic himself, he one time mentioned something to the effect that he didn't celebrate his natal birthday anymore, but celebrated his sober birthday every year. I saw another side of this when his wife, also a unversity employee, realzing what day it was, became terribly distraught, because she had not planned anything for his "birthday." At that point he was "20 something" (though he was in his 50s or 60s). I wish you the same long-term positive success.

Congratulations, Alex. I know when you went into the program you probably never thought you'd see the day you'd be sober for 4 months. Good job! :o)
