just stuff

LIke I said on facebook....some people really need a good bitch-slapping somedays.

Looks like winter has given up on trying to hold on...it is a gorgeous, hot day out and I went for a walk wearing just a t-shirt. (ok, AND pants)....bring on summer and all the fun summer things to do.

Was at the library last night and they have a stash of old (1930's & 40's) movies. It shouldn't take me long to go through them all! I already started last night with a Sherlock Holmes flick and an Abbott & Costello movie that contained the classic "Who's on first?" routine - once again proving that you don't need tons of blood to be suspenseful or vulgarity to be funny.

Took one of those Facebook quizzes (What is your 6th sense). Mine is apparently "Sound" - I've heard that before.
There's also another test - "What kind of mother are you?" I already know the answer....I'm a Baaad Mother.

The keyboard on my computer has developed it's own personality...I was typing along the other day and looked up to check it out and it was mostly gibberish.(the keys seem to have changed places - the "q" comes up as "5", the "t" as an "r", etc.) - I always knew I could speak gibberish, didn't know I could type it as well!

24,again, was pretty darn good last night. After the last few seasons I've expected it to tailspin into the same-old same-old, but not yet. PS - Jon Voight (the actor, not the dentist) has been excellent, very enjoyable)

My dad is coming up for a visit in a month. Can't wait. I see and hear stories all the time of some peoples' families and their lives with them and it always makes me realize how truly lucky I am to have been born into the one I was. My family kicks ass. Even mine when I need it! haha!
