Well, at 7 am tomorrow morning I will be heading back home via Greyhound. It's been fun but I gots ta get home.
Hilight : Seeing the whole family and meeting my 4 great nephews/nieces.
Lowlight : Not getting to see all the friends I wanted to.
There were actually a few "hilights" and only the one "lowlight".
Today's hilight : My first taste of McDonald's in 2 years! It was sooooo good! All there is in Salmo is a Subway and the nearest McD's (or fast food period) is 40 km (25 miles) away.
Watching the federal election results on tv tonight. Looks like the Conservatives have yet another minority government. That makes 3 federal elections in 5 years. With pretty much the same results. Enough pointless elections already! Get back to running the country and not a campaign.
If there's a sequel to the movie "W." with James Brolin, will it be called "X"?
Say what you want about Cloris Leachman's antics on Dancing with the Stars and she may not be the best dancer ever but to move like that, let alone AT ALL, at her age is something.
Saw The Smothers Brothers on Craig Ferguson a couple weeks back. They are still hilarious.
I still find it amazing that after all these years of hating snow that I am STOKED that winter is so close. We should have first snow-fall in Salmo within a few weeks and ski season about 4 weeks after that. whoooohoooooo!
okay, gotta go start gathering my things and such. Early bed tonight. See you all back in Salmo.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit to Maple Ridge. Hope you have/had a safe trip home.
I'm ready for snow, but it will probably be a long time before we see snow this winter, if much at all. I know you can't wait to fling yourself down a mountain in the snow, LOL.
Take care of yourself, Alex. :o)
Love and hugs,
Diane
You're craving McD's and I'm just starting to get sick of it. That was all the fast food I ate in Alaska. Towards the end of my stay was the annual monopoly contest and I was eating more than usual. Right now is the annual monopoly contest again and I'm forcing myself to try to win that million dollars.
'Ello!
K' it made me say 'Ello twice, so I deleted the second one, but it didn't really delete it--sounds like the way everything else is going, so I guess it is just normallacy (sp?)
It might be premature to offer congrats on your new job seeing as how youhve beerly left the old on at Esso but good on you.
Best wishes,
Dad.
