Got my glasses back.....twice.

I did eventually get my glasses back from "tent woman" but then lost them in the previously mentioned accident. They flew out the window into random wilderness bush area and I figured they were gone for good. (5-10 feet to the left of the trees that stopped us was a clear area with nothing to break our fall. If we hadn't been stopped by trees we would have gone ass over tea kettle into a lake) Turns out that along with my glasses a resume belonging to one of the other people in the truck also flew out the window. Apparently my glasses landed right near the resume and the NEXT day some guy was up there fishing and found the glasses and the resume (with current phone number on it) and called that person and I had my glasses back 2 days later.

I would like to clarify something here : In no way do I find what happened funny. There are 5 people in Salmo who should, by all rights, be dead right now. Myself included. This is what I believe most people would call a "wake up call". We did have a designated driver but the fact remains because I was out partying I almost wasn't here to type this blog. I got lucky and I know it. I believe that the amount of "drunken stupid story" blogs will decline severely from this point on.
It's a weird thing to wake up every day thinking "I shouldn't even be here."
I'm 44, it's time to grow up.
