First of all, it started out with my mom calling me to ask if I could go shopping with her because she needs help getting it into the house. When my mom goes shopping, she goes SHOPPING. You know why there are starving children in Africa? Because my mom has all the damned food!
About half-way through the shopping I realize that my mom is buying a bunch of stuff that I KNOW she doesn't like but that I know she knows I like. So I ended up with a steak, a roast, some chicken thighs, a whack of supplementary cooking supplies (condiments,spices,sauces,etc.) My fridge and cupboards are crammed full now.
I've said it before and I'll say it again :
If you had my mom, YOU'D be a momma's boy too!
Then,after I had put away the groceries, a friend of mine showed up with ski-boots for me. That gave me everything I needed to go skiing. So I went! That makes 3 times I've gone now. This was my 1st time night-skiing though. I prefer the day-skiing. The hill was also faster tonight due to weather conditiondd. I went faster then ever! At times it was insane! I loved it!
My day started with free food and ended with skiing. With a couple beer and a joint thrown into the mix. Like the title says :
"what a great day I had"
