somebody asked me today "you've been in town for over a year now, why don't you have a girlfriend yet" so i gave my standard (but based in truth) answer :
"cuz in tis town, they're either 16, married, pregnant, or 90"

Huh... Men have that problem too? I thought it was only women who had the problem of every man being married, gay or dead. Aren't there any eligible Terri Clark or Shania Twain types where you're at?

Yes there are some Teri Clark & Shania types here but, as stated previously, those types are either pregnant or married, usually both at the same time. Or one of those two happen and the other ain't far behind!
Diane : Yes you are a woman. The best kind too : One who loves to cook and feed people! (I don't mean that in a sexist way either. It's just that when men cook, they cook to show off (mostly), when women cook, they cook to FEED you.

No, I haven't seen "The Brave One" yet, but I do plan on it. JF is one of my fave actresses. She's what I call a triple threat : Great actress, smoking hot , & lesbian. I'm glad she's more or less out of the closet now. She (as should anybody) should be allowed to be HERSELF.
Usually I get the "oh, are you married?"...followed by the "well, do you have any kids?'...and when the answer to both of those is "NO" I get an "oh, you poor thing look."
Unless of course it is the mother who is trying to set me up with her son.
