I almost got into a fight downstairs at the bar last night.
Why?
Let me tell you!
I'm sitting there minding my own business when some guy starts bitching at me about refusing to serve him. I was very confused because, in my memory, I've never refused service to anybody. (Insert your own joke here, I'm busy) (Oh, wait : didn't I just refuse YOU service? haha)
So I asked him what he meant, etc.
Wel, it turns out that last week some time he came by the store,WHEN WE WERE CLOSED, and was banging on the door and I told him "we're closed" (I was actually all done paperwork and was basically getting ready to walk out the door).
No amount of explaining last night got through to him and he kept getting on my case. "All I wanted was a pack of smokes".
So last night I finally got to say to somebody words I have always wanted to say (because he pushed me too far with his rudeness about it all - c'mon, I wasn't at work, I was just trying to have a glass of beer before going home) :
"What part of the lights are off, the door is locked and "We're Closed" don't you fucking understand?"
Then the guy has the nerve to get mad at me and say "there's no reason to get rude about it"
I ended up leaving and told the guy to not EVER come to the store if I'm there.

I LOVE IT!!!! Would have loved to see that....I can't figure out why people can't understand that. Hmm sign is off, Closed sign is up, lights are off, chairs are put up, no other people on the premises.....can't figure out how "closed" is so complicated. OR my other favorite:
What do you mean you're closed....We drove all this way...
What time do you close (4:00), Well what time is it now (*thinking, clearly after 4:00* saying, 4:30)....And they are still mad at you, like you sped time up or something just so that they couldn't use the facility/eat/whatever...Ignorance may be bliss but most peope are just stupid....
