With people like Eric Tillman & Kent Austin in charge in Saskatchewan it sure as hell won't be another 20 years before the Roughriders win the Grey Cup again. It's weid, I'm not sure if I was happier last year when my beloved BC Lions won the Grey Cup or this year when the most deserving team of all won it. Honestly, those of you who follow the CFL understand what I'm talking about but anyone who doesn't follow it probably thinks I'm gushing unneccessarily! lol.
Think "The little Engine that could", Toss in a bit of "That'll do pig", from Babe (side note : I've seen that movie about 8 times and that scene where Farmer says to Babe "that'll do pig, that'll do"? Makes me bawl like a baby everytime, doesn't matter WHO is in the room!) & then mix in some Rocky 2 and you might grasp it a bit. That all applies to both the tem AND their fans. No fans anywhere deserve having their team win it all more than the fans of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
