fancy meeting you here

Sorry about the lack of posts lately. That'll happen when you move into a place that has no internet!

Anyhow, without further ado :

Things are looking up in the employment area : I have a job interview oin wednesday the 11th. Wish me luck. It's not the most glamorous of jobs but it'll do for now.

Still thoroughly enjoying my pad. It's kinda like a bachelor pad in size and style but it beats living in my mom's basement watching Star Trek! lol

The NHL playoffs start wednesday night. STOKED! Although there are a couple teams that are stronger on paper and who got more points than my Canucks, I just don't see anyone being able to beat them 4 games out of 7 right now. If they ahd played up until christmas the way they've played SINCE, they would have been 1st overall by a mile.

My dad and other mom, Donna, are going to be here for a visit in about 2 weeks. I can't wait. I feel sorry for people who , for whatever reason, don't get along with or look forward to seeing their parents. Maybe I was jusr blessed with good ones, who knows?

Watched that new show "Thank God you're here" last night. Not as hilarious as the ads made it looked but enjoyable none the less. I will definitely be watching every week, unless it gets totally stupid.

thanks to everyone for continuing to visit here even though I don't post as much as I would like to. Hope your easter was good. until next time : stay in good health and spirits.

PS : Speaking of Easter : It's said that Jesus died for our sins. I don't know about the rest of you but I sure got off easy there.

It was so good to hear from you again, Alex. :-)

Sounds like things are looking up for you. Good luck with the job interview.

Did you get to bring your kitty with you?

And happy belated Easter to you as well. I don't deserve what Jesus did for me either.

Looking forward to hearing from you again soon. Maybe if *When* you get your job you'll be able to afford internet again. :-)

Love and hugs,

Diane

Okay, I just have to vent. Your hockey reference reminded me that the Wings are playing Calgary. My mother-in-law is a big hockey fan who always pronounces Calgary as if it rhymed with "Cal-hairy." Sure, it's spelled as if you could just say "cal-gary" and be done with it, but that's not how you pronounce it! Drives me insane. :) My father-in-law says it the same way!
