ok, my picks for yesterday's games were
Saints vs Bears - I'll go with Saints by 7
Patriots vs Colts - I'll pick the Colts by 6
The results were :
Bears by 25
Colts by 4
So I went 1 for2 bringing me to 4 for 10 - not that good. (which is what I predicted at the start of all this)
The Superbowl on feb 4th will see Da Bears vs The Colts. I will pick the Colts to win. I'm basing this on the fact they had a tougher road to get there and will be hungrier. The Bears have had it easier and may get lazy thinking they have it sealed up.

At the beginning of the season, my sister picked the Colts for the Superbowl and my brother picked the Pats -- so a lot (i.e., pride and bragging rights) was riding on the game yesterday. My sister says they also might have bet a dollar, but she's not sure. Because she came out on top, I suggested that she tell him they bet $10.
I'm actually a little annoyed with myself. I quit watching the Pats and Colts at halftime. It looked like it was going to be a blowout, and plus, I had stuff to do. I missed a real nail biter.
Hubby was getting disgusted with the Colts and Patriots and was about to turn the channel when it started to get interesting. I didn't watch it myself, but I could hear it in here as I was on the computer. I could hear Lamar, too, and he was pretty entertaining, himself, hee hee! ;D
He's a Cowboys fan, but now he's switched his allegiance to Peyton Manning for the timebeing. I don't care who plays or wins, makes no difference to me.
I'm gonna be cheering for Da Bears but I think the Colts are gonna win.
As it turns out, I might as well not bother rooting for anyone. My cousin is getting married on Superbowl weekend! I guess I can't honestly complain. I could theoretically watch the game in the hotel room, but sheesh, half the fun is the Superbowl party.
You should elaborate on the 40 km. walk you recently took. What kind of person bails on someone and leaves them to walk 40 km.?
they didnt really have a choice. They normally work in that town but got sent waaayyy out for the day, not their fault. And no one could come get me
